Fadi ElChamaa

b. 1960, Beirut. Self-taught. Based in Baabdat, Lebanon.

Fadi survived three wars (one of which was civil), and a pandemic, and now he is witnessing the total dissolution of his country, as he knows it.

Intermittently, he traveled the Arab world to live and work in 8 Arabic creative cultures; Beirut, Damascus, Khobar, Manama, Cairo, Riyadh, Casablanca, and Doha, which had a great influence on the development of his visual language and search for authenticity.
